How were everyones weekends?
What did everyone do?
How is everyone doing today?
Re: Good morning
I'm here obviously
My weekend was good. Saturday I saw Sex and the City 2 and then had dinner and did alittle shopping. Sunday I ran errands and did some laundry, nothing too exciting but I got some stuff done that needed to be done. Monday I cleaned the house, relaxed and went to a BBQ at my parents house. So all in all a good weekend. I am bummed to be back at work already. Some drama unfolded here on Friday and I am just so done. I keep telling myself just a few more weeks and I am out of here for at least a few months, hopefully I will find a new job and be done permanantly. This is the problem with a small company.
I am doing ok today, we had awful thunder and lightening storms last night around 3am and they went on for awhile so those kept me up for a few hours so I am tired. I am so happy it's June and a short week! It's my baby month!
Happy baby month Jo! YAY!
I'm here this morning. Very tired because I kept myself up most of the night coughing. Our 4 day weekend was good. My cold got even worse on Fri and Sat and has started to finally go away (I think...except for the cough) and Declan's doing much better yesterday and today.
We did a lot of work around the house mostly in the yard. And we bought patio furniture, window treatments for the sliding door & huge front window, went to 2 BBQ's, and finally got the garage organized so both cars can park inside! Overall it was a great long weekend...but we spent WAY too much money!
Anyone here? Present and accounted for.
How were everyones weekends? It kind of equalled out to decent.
What did everyone do? Errands, worked around the house, drive-in movie, a little shopping yesterday. ETA: I saw SATC2 also yesterday - loved it! I didn't think I would, but felt they did a fantastic job and was surprised they portrayed REAL life (marriage = work, motherhood (even w/full time help) = / = fairytale.)
How is everyone doing today? Meh. 3-4 on a 1-10 scale.
Good Morning ladies.
I've been away from the office for a week, (because of working from home) it's kind of weird.
Saturday I took David to the zoo, got there around 10:15 and left at noon. It was too damn hot.
Sunday, DH and I did a lot of running around. We eventually bought a patio set but bought it from two different places. We found a sturdy table at Menards but the matching chairs were sold out and on backorder. Then we went to Costco, Home Depot and Lowes to find black metal chairs. Lowes was an after thought but I'm glad we went because we were able to find chairs for $17.88 each, rather than the $45-60 per chair that menards wanted. So we saved money that way. Then we went to the IL's house for dinner.
Monday started off by planing our plants and then it started pouring rain. OUr basement didn't flood but the window in our basement collected like a foot of water because the drain in the window got clogged with those stupid helicopter things. Long story short, we got a little bit of water, but nothing damaging. Then we cleaned up the house a bit, watched the awesome Hawks game and an episode of True Blood.
Long story short, it was a nice weekend and I don't want to be at work right now.
Anywho, I'm about a 7 today. I have a little bit of work that I need to get done today.
I'm here- first half day of this work-share program, going to go home and work out w/ the hubs - I'm kind of freaked out because I actually have work to do but I have to leave at noon - so there is going to be an adjustment to figure out how this is all going to shake out.
We had a great weekend - Saturday we just relaxed around the house. Sunday we went to a BBQ at my IL's and then Monday we hung out at home, grilled and relaxed in the back yard while the kids ran through the sprinkler, it was a good weekend. We did get the A/C's installed so at least that's done for the season.
Jo- that stupid thunderstorm had me up too - and then I couldn't get back to sleep, my hubs slept straight through it, got up this morning and was shocked that it rained. I can't believe you are in the home stretch!!! how exciting, I hope the work thing goes smoothly for the last few days so you can enjoy your maternity leave.
Wasn't it awful? I feel like it hovered around for a long time, usually they are bad for alittle bit and then move on, this one just lingered! Your husband must be a really heavy sleeper, I don't know how he could have slept through that!
Thank you so much! I know I just want to to come in and do my work and get through but people make that impossible around here!
Paula I really like SATC 2 also! I know it got bad reviews but I really liked it. I was afraid it was going to drag because it was so long but I didn't think it dragged at all!
Morning. I'm doing ok today. Some big things have happened (work wise) this am so it's been kind of hectic, to say the least.
Our weekend was pretty good but I only got 3 days (so jealous of you girls who had 4!!!). I went shopping on Saturday and got some new suits and shirts. The one other thing I REALLY need, I didn't find - new brown heels. Sigh.
I'm late but Good Afternoon!
We did a bunch of R&R this weekend which was pretty sweet. Highlight of the weekend was Emily smiling, splashing and laughing while in the pool. Pretty safe to say that she LOVES the pool!
