TPT-Third Person Tuesdays...
How bout a switch up here...?
Third Person Tuesdays mixed with what you did this weekend?...
Re: TPT-Third Person Tuesdays...
On Saturday Lauren went on a girls' night and had a lot of fun. Lauren and her friends dressed up, went to dinner, and saw SATC2.
On Sunday Lauren and DH spent the day with Lauren's family. They went to a baby store and Lauren got to play with strollers.
On Monday Lauren and DH went to a dinner party with some friends.
Lauren can't believe the weekend is already over! How did that happen?!? Lauren is really ready for this weekend to get here. At least today is the only day Lauren is in the office...woohoo!
Well Saturday Sierra washed about 10 loads of clothes and folded them and packed some away for the move. Then Sierra and DH went to look at a house with a 12 stall barn. Sierra fell in love!!!! The house is nothing special but still a nice house. DH liked the house and barn but not the location. When Sierra and DH got home they did a list of pros and cons and decided to wait alittle bit to see exactly what they will get from selling their house and then make and offer on the "12 stall barn House". It's a forsale by owner, and the people want too much for it, Sierra & DH will offer them their highest amount they can afford and if they take it they take it, if they don't they don't.
Sunday Sierra was a hostess for a Baby shower for a girl in Sierra & DH's SS class. It was fun but Sierra was already tired from AF, so she crashed when she got home. The Baby Shower was a big hit though and all the cute baby boy stuff did not help SIerra's baby fever at all.
Monday DH & Turbo washed one of the church vans and then Sierra and DH vacumed it out. Then they moved one bedroom suit to the rent house and a few boxes. Then went to a cook out at DH's dad and step mom's.
Friday - Jen and her DH cleared out the nursery.
Saturday - Jen and her DH washed walls, taped, and primed the nursery.
Sunday - Jen and her DH painted the nursery.
Monday - Jen and her DH peeled tape, washed the floor, moved the furniture, and hung blinds in the nursery, then their friend came over and helped move the dining room table and tools out of the truck.
Jen is tired.

Friday was Lorelai's 30+10, but she had to do many errands... She came home and DH had made a cake-that 'looked' like a watermelon, sort of, but he did it! ... also, saw neighbor's daughter go to her prom! Lorelai remembered last year, she had poison ivy when neighbor's daughter went to jr prom...
Saturday-Lorelai went to the flea market-she was being a smarty pants and was saying-HA! No one decorated her 'front yard' like she did for others for their 'big' bdays. She came home and found the yard decorated... thanks to her SD for listening to her. All the skids helped! Was cute! They also all went out for hibachi-pics of the skids' drinks were kinda weird, but funny...
Sunday-Lorelai and the fam went bike riding and picniced (why does that look wrong?)at a 'local' nat'l park. Had a blast!
Monday-semi-day of relaxing... Lorelai played tennis w the skids and DH (more like-hit the ball, go get the ball, hit the ball, go get the ball...), online certification stuff (ugh!), cleaned... and other 'chores'.
Today-Lorelai's doing the 'count down' to vacation!!! 5 more days...
Jen should be tired! WOW!!!
Friday Kim and her DH went to a wedding. It was small but nice. Then they drove up to Conneaut Lake.
Kim's DH's family came up to the lake on Saturday. Kim spent most of her weekend playing with her puppy Kieran in the water.
Monday the weather got crappy so everyone at the lake pack up and went home. When Kim got home she did about 4 loads of laundry.
Kim had trouble sleeping last night and is cranky because she forgot her debit card and couldn't buy coffee or food this morning.
Let's see. On Friday, Hudys left work early because she was feeling ill still. She was sick from Wed on till Sunday. Thankfully she's feeling better now. She just relaxed at home Fri with her H and they played some video games.
Saturday Hudys was feeling alittle better but not a ton. She cleaned all morning -- the house was really in need. Then she went to the park with DH and friends to play soccer. It was a blast. Then they all went to the mall to pick up some new games.
Sunday Hudys was finally feeling better. She and DH played some games in the morning till friends came over. Then they went out to lunch and back to their house to play games for the evening.
Monday Hudys actually took her holiday instead of working it for a floating vacation day. She and dh walked in the morning. Then big surprise, spent the afternoon gaming haha. They walked again that afternoon and then watched some Buffy before bed.
Overall, Hudys had an unproductive weekend, but she was glad to finally just spend the weekend at home relaxing.
Sheri and her DH went out to dinner on Friday then relaxed at home.
Saturday Sheri and her DH went to the JFK Library in Boston then went to lunch at Hooters. Sheri isn't sure if Hooters girls are the same everywhere, but she had never been before and was sad to see all the girls were plastic and had painted on faces (completely shaved eyebrows so they were painted on, heavy heavy makeup). Though the food was really good.
Sunday Sheri and her DH decided to go visit her family and picked a good day because Sheri's cousin's GF would be getting induced that day. Sheri and her DH spent the remainder of the day, waiting for news at her cousins apartment and realized a lot of Sheri's cousins friends act like a bunch of high schoolers and Sheri's DH got annoyed VERY quickly.
Monday Sheri's new cousin was born (see pp) so she left early in the morning to go see her new cousin. She got home late in the afternoon/early evening so she just spent the rest of the night on the couch with her DH. Oh, Sheri's lower eyelid also decided to start randomly swelling up and her eye began to hurt.
This morning Sheri woke up to a still swollen eyelid and her wants to rip her eye out. Sheri called her doctors office and they told her to give it another 3-4 days because they believe she has a stye and they usually go away on their own. Sheri has to put warm compress on her eye as much as she can for 10 minutes at a time to help with the swelling.
Sheri is not a happy camper today.
That sucks! Lauren hopes Sheri's eye feels better asap!
On Saturday Stephanie and her hubby spent all day prepping the house and shopping for the bbq that they were going to have on sunday.
On Sunday Stephanie cooked and cleaned all morning and at 3:30 the party started. It was a good time but Stephanie was truly glad when it was all over.
On Monday Stephanie and her hubby took a long hike in the Santa Cruz mountians near their house and had a great time. Then they came home watched hockey and then went to bed.
On Saturday, Jenny went to visit her sister and niece/nephew for lunch, and then went to a wedding with one of her bfs. It was a beautiful wedding, but Jenny couldn't relax and enjoy it. On the way to the wedding, Jenny and her bf witnessed a single car rollover accident on a freeway interchange (the car in front of them) that freaked the h*ll out of Jenny. There were 5 kids in their 20s in the car, and everyone escaped serious injury, but it was the first time Jenny has called 911, and it was freaky. Jenny was also mad because she saw the kids climb back into the overturned car and toss bottles of alcohol into the bushes. Jenny reported their a$$es.
On Sunday, Jenny had a nice brunch with her friend, and then went home and spent the afternoon pricing things for a garage sale.
On Monday, Jenny worked. Boo. But Jenny gets Thursday off! Yay!
On friday, Kristy made an attempt to go shopping after getting out early at 1, but forgot how to get to the mall from her office and ended up stuck on a highway. She was afraid to exit and get MORE lost and the next exit was Camden, so she decided the Ben Franklin Bridge back to philly and staying ALIVE was her best bet. She hit up Old Navy at a familiar mall and went home!!
Saturday, Kristy did some freelance, cleaned, watched the phillies finally win, and the flyers lose a CRAZY game.
Sunday, more of the same.
Monday, Kristy got groceries including a watermelon she can't wait to cut tonight! She also rescued a nice cat cubby from the dumpster (it's bamboo & suede!), made a blueberry-strawberry pie to bring to work, and then watched the flyers lose again when DH got home from work.
Friday: Breanne cleaned her house for her parents whirlwind weekend of nesting! Breanne and DH took her parents to a minor league game when they arrived.
Saturday: Breanne and her mom went to the fabric store to look at fabric for valances for the baby's room. Breanne and her mom painted the closet in the baby's room. Then they painted the dining room chairs. DH and Dad worked on the siding on the front of the house. Dad mowed the grass and got up all the leaves! Breanne and DH treated Mom and Dad to Japanese Hibachi and then they had birthday cookie cake to celebrate Breanne's birthday.
Sunday: Breanne painted the closet doors for the entryway closet while DH and Dad installed new closet doors in the guest room and put up a new ceiling fan/light fixture in the baby's room. Mom stripped the dining room table and chairs and applied new stain and polyurethane. Breanne made 2 trips to Home Depot for supplies and a trip to get lunch. Then everyone played musical furniture to move the desks out of the baby's room. Then they moved the dresser/changing table in and assembled the crib. Breanne's mom sewed the valances for the baby's room.
Monday: Breanne's mom put another coat of polyurethane on the table and chairs. Breanne and DH moved some things into their new homes. Breanne took a 3 hour nap.
Breanne had to go to work today to get a break from all the work she's been doing at home.
