Would anyone been interested in going to a cooking class on Friday June 18th maybe?? Its $55 at Central Market and is at 10am. I'm thinking about taking that day off and heading to town for it?? I have three of her cookbooks after all! Kinda thinking outloud and wondering if anyone else might want to go! Smile

Re: Foodies -- Pastry Queen

  • mmmmmmmmm.....  yum!  I'd love to go but I highly doubt I'd be able to.  eat and drink for me, please!
  • Holy moly that sounds good!  I don't think I want to know how to make those things... I would probably then be inclined to eat them on a too-frequent basis.

But for real, we are going out of town the following week and I'm starting to get anxiety about feeding DSS for 2.5 weeks of nothing but eating out.  He eats probably double what DH & I eat combined.  I think we are going to spend much more than we planned.

  • FCB - where are y'all going?
  • That sounds amazing!  I might be willing to take the day off for that!

FCB - where are y'all going?

I'm flying up to Seattle to hang out w/ my dad and DH & DSS will drive up leaving a few days later and join me; it'll take them ~4 days of not-rushing to get there.  We'll stay near my dad's for 4-5 days, then the three of us will drive back home via Hwy 101 through California taking about 5-6 days.

  • I can go!  I've been wanting to take some food classes.

Next on my list is cake decorating.  You know how to contact me :)

Oh, but count me in on cake decorating classes if y'all go in the future!
