OMG, I am SO in love with it! I was finally able to sit down last night and start reading through the manual and playing with the settings. I have a lot to learn, but I'm having a blast while I do it. I finally got the hang of holding the shutter half-way down and then turning the wheel behind it in AV & TV modes with two fingers.
I can't wait to take it and a book I ordered on our cabin trip in a few weeks. I hope to get a lot of time with it while relaxing.
Eeek! What fun! I'm so glad you're enjoying it. I saw your post about camera bags and I'm still on the hunt for a unisex one, myself. I just can't commit. I'm hoping to finish the manual on ours this weekend.
PS - I'm so glad y'all planned a cabin trip. It sounds like you needed it.
I gave up & ordered the Crumpler 4MDH from eBags via Amazon so I could use a gift card with it. It's about the same size of the purse I carry, but just a little bit wider. Supposedly, it'll be here on Tuesday. We'll see. I ordered an extra battery for a great price on Amz too and am fine with waiting until it is in stock. I still need to order a couple of filters and intend to do that today. I got the 55-250 for an awesome price at Fry's yesterday.

My T2i for Dummies book arrived today. I can't wait to dig into it.

Nope, never. I've only been living here 4 yrs. We have friends that hike it all the time, but that's not exactly our idea of fun. I'd love to go and take some pics sometime though.
I've heard the Botanical Gardens is a great place to go take photos too.
