What was the best part of your weekend? Hanging out with new and old friends!
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Taking almost my entire midterm to then have the computer lock me out so it can't be submitted!
Now I have to retake it sometime this week.
How did you celebrate the holiday? We went to two different cookouts and then stopped by Twisted Fork for a late dinner.
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? Amazing pork bbq cooked by DH's coworker!
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? I found the simpliest and yummy blueberry cream pie recipe. Combine 1 container cool whip with 2 containers (6 oz) blueberry yogurt and 2 cups blueberries. Put in a graham cracker crust, chill for an hour and serve! Everyone was asking for the recipe!
What was the best part of your weekend? Shopping with my honey on Saturday
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Knowing I had to work on Monday
How did you celebrate the holiday? I didn't I had to work
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? Ribs - the dealership grilled some ribs yesterday and they were awesome
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? Hmmm - nothing really exciting - I just really look forward to weekends spent with my DH and no one else (unless it is BoxerMommie).
What was the best part of your weekend? good weather in charleston and walking around exploring
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? i had a clutz move and spilled ranch dressing all over 2 stranges. and our hotel room had 3 ginormous palmetto bugs.
How did you celebrate the holiday? we actually went out to Fort Moultrie on Sullivan's Island and did a guided tour.
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? there was so much to choose from, but i really enjoyed once breakfast - crab cakes eggs benedict.
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? we witnessed a few medical emergencies. a guy having a really bad seizure. another guy that fainted. and our neighbor had the ambulance visit.

What was the best part of your weekend? Spending 9 hours (yes, 9) on my BFF's boat. Truly one of the best days ever.
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Monday night when I started thinking about work again...ugh

Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? I get another 3 day weekend! My cousin is coming to visit & I took next Monday off - woo hoo!
What was the best part of your weekend? Getting a lot accomplished, without really feeling like we were "busy."
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Worrying that more people will come to a cookout than we had food for. In addition to the rain that ended our float.
How did you celebrate the holiday? We always put out our American Flag, and we went tubing down the Dan River (to be continued below)
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? A store bought Harris Teeter potato salad--it almost looked like a mashed potato potato salad. First time I've ever had that and it was GOOD.
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? So, we went tubing down the Dan river yesterday--there were 6 of us total, and we opted for the long ride (anywhere from 3-4.5 hour trip). About 1/2 way down the river, we noticed some VERY dark, menacing clouds headed for us, and so we decided that it would be prudent to get out of the river, since we had been hearing thunder rumbles in the distance. We find a decrepit set of stairs at this particular point in the river and take that opportunity--there are "no tresspassing" signs posted everywhere, but we decided to take the risk and get out. There was a family (it seemed) that had set up a small camp there with a fire, that 2 of my other friends and I huddled around for a moment before the skies opened up. Lightning, Thunder, torrential rains--one guy runs over to us and offers us a ride in his pickup truck. I tell him, there are 6 of us, all with giant tubes, and said his bed was empty so we should fit. We accept his offer, but blocking our way to his truck, was another, smaller pick up truck--that we quickly find out is stuck in the sudden mud. The 6 of us get behind him to push, and it takes SEVERAL tries. I do a face plant in the mud, and everyone else is getting covered in mud--and remember, we're all only wearing swim suits! We finally get that truck out of the mud (they didn't even thank us!) and hop into the nice guys' truck. In order for all of us AND the tubes to fit, we kind of had to shove everything here and there--one of my friends was standing inside 3-4 tubes. The nice guy zooms off (literally, we're going pretty fast for twisty, turny, country road, and with untethered, awkward cargo in the back. The rain is PELTING us wherever our skin is exposed- It was funny and scary and a little thrilling all at once, and at the very least, a good story to tell afterwards.
Certainly a memorable tubing trip!!
What was the best part of your weekend? Everything! Went on a bachelorette weekend to celebrate an old friend's upcoming wedding. I got to see my 2 closest friends from high school (and met some new friends). It's been years since the 3 of us have gotten to hang out all together and it was so awesome to have a whole weekend to catch up!
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Friend's flight being delayed so we didn't leave until 11 pm, driving in the heavy rain on Friday night and arriving at 3 am.
How did you celebrate the holiday? Cocktails on the beach, grilling, & lots of wine
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? Steamed snow crab legs & shrimp.
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? I made some yummy cocktails and look forward to trying more nestie drink suggestions.
What was the best part of your weekend? Volunteering at the WC Animal Shelter & shopping with friends in Smithfield.
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Boo hooing while walking a puppy about all the dogs in the shelter.
How did you celebrate the holiday? Relaxed on the couch and caught up on the DVR.

Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? Nothing really, pretty normal weekend.
1. hanging out on the beach and not having a hard time finding parking!
2. watching my husband and father in law waste 7 hours before putting a single piece of hardwood floor down yesterday
3. nothing really, we painted and did house stuff till midnight
4. shrimp, shrimp & shrimp (really, I had it 3 times in 48 hours) and clam chowder! ..... and the vodka pinapples I had :-)
5. I reallllly hope my father in law has picked up the pace on this flooring stuff.... otherwise DH might kill him..... he measured the same thing over and over and over and over and over....... I got more painting done in 3 hours yesterday then they got done all damn day! ok vent over.
What was the best part of your weekend? Spending the entire weekend with DH, doing what we love the most
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Getting sunburned really really bad on Saturday and having to suffer the rest of the weekend
How did you celebrate the holiday? Saturday and Sunday we were out at the Motocross track and yesterday DH and I got pedicures and chilled for the rest of the day
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? Sushi from Domo Sushi in Cary
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? I had my interview with Parkwood Fire Department and I passed the first interview process and my application is now fully under process. I expect to start training with them sometime in August - eeeeekkkk I can't wait!!!
What was the best part of your weekend? Going to the USA v Turkey soccer game and meeting up with a college friend I had not seen in awhile
What was your least favorite part of your weekend? Driving
How did you celebrate the holiday? We were in the car for most of the actual holiday.
What was the yummiest food you ate this weekend? marinated grilled chicken and fresh picked strawberries
Any other random things you'd like to share about your weekend? we took our kitty with us on the trip and overall he did pretty well. he is a good kitty.
What was the best part of your weekend? Going to Smith Mtn Lake, VA to see my parents and cousins. Played Tennis, went to my favorite Tiki Bar and for a nice board ride.
