  Is the iPhone coming to Sprint?  Or is this question for someone you know?  Or are you thinking of getting rid of your iPhone **gasp**?

  We switched to ATT from Sprint a couple of years ago when my H got his iPhone, so my knowledge isn't at all current.

  Sprint is not getting iPhones.  On Thursday they are getting a phone that could possibly be better than the iPhone, so we're checking into their coverage. 

  I think AT&T's service is craptastic personally.  The iPhones are the best thing since sliced bread IMO, but the AT&T service? Not so much.

  That's what my H would say anyway... I would love to switch back to Sprint because their unlimited plan would make it more affordable for me to get a smartphone, too.

  I do agree with you about ATT's service.

  MH is a tech nerd and has been researching phones for a LONG time.  iPhones are losing their edge.  Even die hard Apple folks are bi+ching about the new release that's coming out this month.  It's weak.  It's going to be a haaaard sell to get me to give up my phone and switch, but there are definitely other options out there now.  We are die hard Apple/Mac folks and we're considering it.  There are tons of websites out there about the other phones that compare and why the new release is weak.  It's worth researching when you drop that much money on a phone and data plan each month, IMO.

  I think DH was mentioning the same thing for Verizon??  Droid or something?  Concept similar to Iphone and Storm.  Can't remember.

  We have sprint and have had it for the past 4 years or so. We also have a 3G card for our laptops thatbworks reaaly well. i would say the speed we have been able to get is near DSL speeds. As for the Iphone we are dies hard mac people ( ie thats our biz ) and we don't have the Iphone yet. We have been concerned with the coverage and are hoping that with next week Keynote and release of the new 4G OS that they will open up Iphone to Verizen like the rumors are heavly suggesting. They are also small rumors come out the Sprint may end up with the Iphone itself this fall. I'm keep my eyes open. i have seen the Droid and IMO... it doesn't compare to the Iphone. I find it clunky and not uswr friendly at all. I tried to help set up my Mom's friend with her and the easy things just take to many steps.

  There's a better one than the Droid by the same company, if YH is interested, Tigers.  I think it's called The Incredible?  Not entirely sure on the name or if it's been released.  I'm kind of hoping that apple just enters into a contract with verizon, so I can ditch AT&T and continue using apple phones.  From what I have read, it won't be an "iPhone" if Verizon gets an apple contract.  It'll be something else specifically for Verizon, just as the iPhone is specific for AT&T.  I guess we'll see if any of these rumors pan out.
