*shuffles feet back to car websites...*

  • At least you found out ahead of time, we bought a G6 last year and then a month later found out Pontiac was stopping production of vehicles!

  • It seems as if the problem though is just from people having multiple car floor mats, although I could be misunderstanding it.  We just want a car with decent gas mileage since I'm sick and tired of my SUV... if my current vehicle got decent gas mileage then we'd buy the end of the lease out since it has everything that we want.

Ford and Subaru seem to be the only companies that have cars (that aren't rediculously expensive!) in AWD with all the bells and whistles that I want... that we get corporate discounts for.  Yes, I'm being that picky!

My dad and brother used to work for Ford and still get their discounts so all I have ever driven were Ford brands. Nothing wrong with being picky!

Mazda does fall under the discount as well but I'm not sure how much the bigger vehicles like the RXD are. I love my 6 though but it's not AWD. Just a suggestion!

I think my problem with being picky isn't necessarily the discounts, it's all the "bells and whistles".  Right now my car has the moon roof, heated seats, back up sensors, etc. and honestly, I don't want a car without these ammenities now (hence the price per month).

I drove a Mazda 3 when I was OOT for work and I just didn't like it.  Plus they don't come in AWD (let alone have all the bells and whistles) and we're trying to stay away from another SUV because of the gas mileage.  I asked DH if AWD was necessary and he said that it wasn't but since I've never had a vehicle that wasn't 4 wheel or AWD and that I would feel more comfortable knowing that it had it if need be.

Blah!  Seriously, this is more frustrating than buying a house AND planning a wedding at the same time...
