Ours was good.
Friday- lounged around the house
Saturday- watched the hawks game
Sunday- 2 BBQs
Monday- 1 BBQ- hawks game.
Friday I worked and went to bed semi-early.
Saturday we went to lunch with my IL's at the Sponge Docks. It was a lot of fun and I ate some yummy greek food.
Sunday we went to my aunt and uncle's for a bbq and to say good bye to my sister who left for Philly yesterday.
Monday I took DH out to Home Depot to buy his Father's Day present. He got a new grill, which is really nice. We did the grocery shopping and then we went to the IL's for a bbq and watched a movie. I was so exhausted I fell asleep at 5 for a couple of hours. Of course then I couldn't go to sleep at a decent time.
I'm at work today and hating it (as always). My fax is down and the guy who is here who is supposed to be fixing it is an idiot and doesn't know what he is doing!).
I can't wait for the weekend!!!
We had a great weekend:
Sat - met with our realtor to discuss what we are looking for. Went to Kevin's parents and had a picnic with his family and friends. It was nice to see them all, one friend's wife is due in 3 weeks with their first little girl.
Sun - Left Kevin's parents house and headed to Buffalo to my grandma's for a picnic with my family. Kevin had a good time and played catch with my little cousin and said "he sure doesn't talk much, does he?" which cracked me up because its exactly what my dad says about Kevin haha
Mon - hung around the house and relaxed, tried to stay cool, looked at some listings the realtor sent us on line. I was SO hungry yesterday I just kept eating and eating, but at least it was fruit and not too bad haha
Today we are going to check out our first house! and we got our pre-approval letter, which is officially one step further than we made it last time haha. Also, I am looking forward to our dr's appt on Thursday.
Did I miss something, are you buying a house?! That is great if you are!
truthfully; my weekend sucked for the better part of it.
Friday: supposed to work @ 1030.. got a call from the Dr, come in @ 11... got a text from the Dr come in @ 1... uhm kay... kind of aggravated, I drive an hour & a half over there... thankfully MH was at our new house so i just went over there and hung out... went to work @ 1pm..left @ 2:45pm.. There is literally nothing to do. Went to lowes after work & picked up our countertops & some other random stuff we needed for the house. got home @ 11pm.thatsucked.
Saturday: went out on the boat w/ friends, got a lil drunk, went home fell asleep woke up hung over as hell...laid on the couch all day.
Sunday: wake up sick as hell; not hung over sick. sore throat, stuffy head, the works.. laid on the couch all day
Monday: still sick. went to my mom's studio to get some of our furniture out & to take it to the new house. still sick. pissed bc i'm sick. got home @ 5pm. laid on the couch.
Tuesday: went to the dr.. diagnosed with Strep. Joy. Went to work @ 11.. left @ 2:45.
Thankfully the Dr. is paying me for 40hrs even tho i'm not really working 40 hrs.. or really working at all.
Friday night we went for wings and ice cream and played poker. it was fun but we didn't win.
Saturday our friend had a BBQ so we hung out there all day! played Apples to Apples and ate and drank and just enjoyed hanging out.
Sunday we headed down to MILs. we went to the WalkWay over the Hudson (an old railway bridge that has been transformed into a walkway over the Hudson river). We also had Sonic for the first time (nothing to rave about if you ask me)
Monday I watched SATC2 with my MIL while DH watched Robin Hood with his grandpa. We all met for a late lunch and then went home and did yard work for MIL until 730! then we drove the 2 hrs home and went to bed.
OVerall it was a really good weekend except for the end of Monday... MIL always springs work on us as we are about to leave and DH can't stand up to her!
Busy weekend with the wedding and all. Check out some of my pictures on facebook... I think most of you are friends with me. I'm also going to do an update in my blog once I get a minute... I really am horrible at blogging because I take forever on each post so I don't do enough. I don't want to post anything without proof-reading and editing, so then I only post when I have a big piece of time to devote. Anyhow - expect an update by the end of the week if you want to see some wedding pics!

Thanks, my throat is feeling better but now I have developed this nagging cough and its really getting frustrating!
The job is OK. .. Today was kind of tough, we had 2 meetings; One with our BioHazardous Waste Lady & the other with our Practice Manager lady (she is helping the Dr set up the office)... It was really over whelming and I just had this feeling that I'm getting WAY in over my head. There is SO much to remember. So many rules & regulations; I mean we are dealing with so many government agencies & peoples health- Ugh. It's just nerve wracking!
The office is no where near ready to open yet.. The Dr said maybe another 15 days... which means 15 days of really nothing to do... I have a few hrs of stuff each day to do.. I've been working on the same 3 or 4 problems for the last 2 days... Just stupid stuff like the internet isn't working, setting up our answering service..
Ive been going in @ 10-10:30 & leaving around 3. Thankfully he is paying me for 40 hrs... there is no way I could do 40 hrs worth of work right now.. there just isn't that much for me to do.. =/
