I LOVE my Capresso machine. It's a little more expensive than the average Cuisinart, but I find the taste is far superior. I learned about Capresso on coffeegeek.com. It's the company that makes those insanely priced espresso machines (Jura-Capresso is the full name), but the coffeemakers are much more reasonable!
If you are a member of Gilt Groupe and other sites like that (One Kings Lane, Rue La La, Ideeli), Capresso products come up for sale fairly often.

I love our Hamilton Beach Stay-or-Go thermal coffee maker. It can brew a full pot, or one or two travel mugs. The thermal carafe keeps coffee warm all morning (at least 3 hours). It's sweet.
