Skaneateles was great!
We did end up taking the motorcycle and we couldn't have had better weather! The Sherwood Inn was great! Our room was really, really nice, the food was fantastic and the service was excellent.
We rented a boat on Sunday and enjoyed the sunshine all day long. Some of those lake houses are HUGE!!

We actually ate at the hotel for all of our meals since it was so good! We ate at the tavern the first night, then the porch on the second night. Their complimentary continental breakfast was the nicest free breakfast buffet ever!
We got a suite, I believe it was #28 - it was great. We saw #29 which was a little smaller, but had a great view, a bump - out window seat and a jacuzzi tub. So, both were very nice.
