Back from strawberry picking...
It was fun 
HOT, but fun! We treated ourselves to a half priced sonic slush after too, it was a fun time together. I wish I hadn't forgotten my camera card for my camera, or I would have taken pictures to share. Oh well, next time.
It was a small strawberry patch, but LOTS of strawberries to pick. DH & I picked almost 8 lbs. I think Im going to make jam, and some strawberry syrup to can (to save as gifts this year for Christmas).
I already have the perfect strawberry syrup recipe- good and easy! Now, Im on the hunt for a jam recipe. Let me know if anyone has one.
