Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Hi, Nesters!
Hello Nesters! Is everyone happy to not be planning a wedding anymore? I am happy to have my days back from planning but here I sit on the boards, lol.
How has everyone been since their wedding? Some are probably still on their HM. What do you all have planned for family ... trying now, going to wait, etc?

I am getting busy planning home improvements I have been putting off. I want to paint the living room and switch bedrooms. Then I am going to convert the tiny room off of the bedroom into a big walk-in closet!!!
We're doing great! HH and I are going on our Honeymoon the end of next week. We've had the TTC discussion and it will be ~6 months before I graduate (roughly 2013) at the earliest depending on HH's salary at that point.
I've got a LOT of homework and finals this week. HH and I are ready for vacation!!!
I am so ready to work on our house. We bought a house in May 2009 and did a ton of work right away. Then, with all the wedding planning it all got pushed to the side. Our first project is the master bathroom then the guest bathroom!
I'm happy to save some money and invest it in the house and thinking about favors, invitations, and wedding spreadsheets
Part of me is sad the planning is over, but it's nice not to be working on projects every night!!
DH and I just got back from our mini-honeymoon. Our big trip is in December after I am done with grad school and hopefully licensed in my field!
As for TTC- it will be a few years!
HH and I are great....working on some home projects for now. We bought a house in November and now that wedding stuff is over (thank god) we have time to do things around the house to make it "our home".
We still have two months before our honeymoon but will be TTC after that is over.
