one more reason I love my husband!
Yesterday we were at my parents house celebrating my brothers birthday with a big bbq. We were all sitting around talking about birthdays that are close to Christmas. One of our friends has a bday on Dec. 23 and she was saying how she almost never gets a real birthday celebration.
So Ted says that's one reason why it kind of sucks that our anniversary is so close to Christmas (Jan. 8). I told him that we don't have to get each other gifts, we'll just always go on a vacation. And he said YES! lol. I was like... "Ok... then 2012 we're going to Jamaica!" And he said OK! hahaha.
I was like "Are you serious, or just playing along?" He said he was serious. We both like to go on vacation, so what better time to do that then for our anniversary?
I don't know if we'll realistically be able to go on a big vacation every year, but who knows??

Our plan is to try to go on a vacation for our anniversary every year too! DH can be a bit of a workaholic and doesn't like to take days off of work (I had to negotiate with him for the 2 weeks for the wedding/honeymoon). So, I figure if he already has it in his mind that we're going somewhere every April, it should make it easier! We met people on our honeymoon that got married where at the Resort and they come back every year for their honeymoon, so that helped too! We just want to travel to differnet places every year - I'm working on Paris for 2011!
We got engaged in Paris! I love Paris, and not just because of that, lol. It's an amazing area. I can't wait to go back some day.
That's great! I know we're trying to get back to Mexico for our 1 year anni. I hope we can do it every year though!
Lets all try talking our husbands into this idea! LOL.
I even asked Ted again this morning if he was serious, and he said he thinks that's a great idea because he loves going on vacation, and it takes a lot of pressure off of him for anniversary gifts. lol. I told him we still have to get each other cards.
