When you're in a funk?

The past few days I have felt SO bored and just in a funk!  What do you do to get yourself out of it ( shopping is not an option for me!!!).

  • I get in these funks kinda often. Sometimes I fill up my shopping cart on amazon but then dont actually buy...i know thats silly, but its the looking that makes me happy.

    is a mani/pedi out of budget? a new hair dye/cut?

    A new book? Yoga?

    these are the little things that make me feel better some of the time.

  • I usually do some crafting or read.

  • Working out usually helps me, though making myself work out when I'm feeling like that is hard but once I do, I feel better.

    Also, chocolate, or some other of your fave food! 

    Oh and sleeping! Sleeping it off sometimes helps for me!

    Well, I ended up making DH's favorite- Friday's Bruschetta chicken, and I finished up sewing 2 dishmats (I usually hand wash pots/pand and large bowls and I had nothing to let them dry on, bc I hate drying dished by hand!).

    All of that made me feel a little better.

    I would LOVE to get a pedi or highlight right now.  I hate to ask DH, bc we really dont have the money.

    Yeah, I had some chocolate tonight too- my stash in the freezer LOL. 

    Here's hoping tomorrow is better!

  • i go for a walk/workout at the gym or deep clean the house. when i'm not 'in the mood' for anything I do one of those two things. They're mindless and productive :)  I usually always feel better afterward b/c I feel like I've accomplished something
