Look what SIL bought us!!

She said Aunt Stephanie couldn't resist buying this for Lucie! We'll put it on a shelf in her room then when she's old enough she can play with it!

How is A's parents doing with the pregnancy? I know you said when you broke the news they were not so excited but wondered how they were doing.

His mum seems to be getting more excited - she has a different way of showing it but I think she is. Plus, she offered to take care of her one day a week if we want to save on childcare costs, which is nice, but there will be ground rules! His dad still seems unbothered by it. He makes sexist comments about me being pregnant and moody (and I'm not) but can't be bothered to ask how I'm doing or anything.

It's ok, at least my family are super excited (SIL is my brother's wife, DH is an only child). I'm dreading how intefering the ILs are going to be considering how intefering they are with everything else in our lives but I'll learn to tell them to butt out if that happens.

Hopefully when that precious baby gets here things will change and they won't be major interfering (one can hope).

You can add me to the excitment list :)
