is it too late to replant my peas and green beans?  I must have gotten bad seed because I have spotty plants that are up...so frustrating

and my zuchs are about the size of my thumb...gonna be a lot of bread and pancakes and patties in our family this summer :)

Re: *~curly~*

  • I think you could re-plant the peas.  Possibly the beans.  I still haven't planted my pole beans (waiting for the corn to get to 6"-ish).  Does your pack give the date to maturity?  That's what I'd go by.

I just took a slew of photos and posted them to the blog....and I think my garden officially scares me.  I'm already drowning in lettuce, the kale and collards are ready for their first picking.  The number of viable squash and cucumber plants is horrifying, as are the beans and peas.  And a couple of my tomato plants are already flowering.

Fortunately all of that (except the lettuce) can be blanched and frozen.  I shall be the Ant the rest of the summer and fall.

  • I forgot that we have buds on the tomatoes and then have a couple of cukes starting...my peppers are sucking right now but we have had a ton of rain

I got rhubarb to take, and have my fingers crossed on asparagus

I think I will go ahead and replant...I won't be out anything but seed
