This is the last week for my seniors *sigh*. This year is harder than last because I've been with this group longer. I am in the process of writing them each individual cards. I call them my "for what it's worth" cards. I give them little tidbits of advice mixed with the growth I've seen in them. Tomorrow I will feed them lunch and read them "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" while trying not to cry. It's amazing how invested you get in these kids. I can't imagine what it's going to be like when I have my own!
I'm not sure what exactly this post is suppose to do, I guess I just needed to get that out. Thanks for listening Ladies!

Re: Emotional Week
That is a wonderful thing, the cards. They will always remember that. They may not keep them, but they will always remember you took the time to do that!!
DH got me that book when I graduated HS, I love it!! He also wrote a little something in the cover, I still like to read it.
I'm late to this, but I think it's a very sweet and kind gesture to do the cards for each of them. They'll definitely appreciate it.
And like a pp said, thank you for helping to make a difference. :-)
