1) clean your windows? never
I'm in my house 7 months, and I still haven't done it
2) dust? extremely rarely. it's gotta be pretty bad before I do it (like it is now)
3) mop? I don't actually mop, I just use the Swiffer Wet pads, and even that I only do as needed
4) vacuum? as needed or anytime company's coming over
5) do laundry? every weekend, sometimes I'll do some during the week as well
6) do dishes? I try to keep up with them, but I usually don't. It's rare that there isn't something in my sink
7) scrub your toilet? usually once a week
Lol, okay it's official, I'm a slob.
How often do you:
1) clean your windows? Been in the house two years and the last time we did this was when we moved in!!
2) dust? We have a cleaning lady who does this every two weeks - before her, it was about once every two months!
3) mop? Cleaning lady does it every other week, we used to do it only when company was coming
4) vacuum? Same as mopping
5) do laundry? Cleaning lady does this too, but sometimes we need to do a load in between the two weeks. We use underwear as our measurement - when we run out, it's time to do some laundry :-)
6) do dishes? Every day. No dishwasher. Boo!!
7) scrub your toilet? This is one thing that I actually used to do frequently - probably once a week. I hate grimey toilets. But now the cleaning lady does it.
If you can't tell, our cleaning lady is our FAVORITE PERSON IN THE WORLD.
I am not bored but I need a break from this copy pasting that I am doing over here. Ok, my answers are very embarassing, but what the heck!
How often do you:
1) clean your windows? - I cleaned some of our windows last weekend for the first time since installing them last year, so I am gonna say twice a year.
2) dust? every week but I only have 1 LR furniture, so just bedroom dresser and tv.
3) mop? I should do this at least every other day but currently, once a week.
4) vaccuum? once a week in the carpeted BRs
5) do laundry? once every two weeks - I hate going to the laundromat with a passion! I can't wait till we fix our basement and install W/D
6) do dishes? every day
ALTHOUGH we have a dishwasher (never used it)
7) scrub your toilet? twice a week

I am so jealous! I'd be afraid to hear what somebody would even charge us to clean our house.
Your house would sparkle compared to mine, lol.
We are very lucky that our cleaning lady is the friend of a friend, and so we can afford her reasonable rates. Otherwise, we used to hire a cleaning service for special occasions (like when we were hosting out of town guests) and there is no way we could afford that twice a month.
I will give up eating if I have to, just so we can afford to keep the cleaning lady. :-)
Can I frame this quote and pass it on to my mom?? She is a neat freak and mops every day etc.. Cleans her washroom every two days etc. and thinks that I am a slob! I leave dirty plates in the sink sometimes too but there is no day that goes by that I don't wash dishes. DH hasn't connected the dishwasher (and yes he is an electrician)
I guess I don't love doing those chores but I do them, my mom actually loves doing these things so maybe thats the difference.

Now with the baby, I have a feeling things are going to be put off a lot more!
1) clean your windows? eh, twice a year...maybe
2) dust? every 2-3 months?? or if we need to clean off a surface for some reason
3) mop? well....now that I got my new favorite toy - a steam mop - probably every couple weeks!!
4) vacuum? eh...we have one rug. But we broom sweep every week or so.
5) do laundry? every other day...and the piles are always looming at me!
6) do dishes? every day if possible
7) scrub your toilet? every couple weeks.Now that we are in the process of selling our house, I haven't cleaned in weeks
and I'm usually a clean freak! I mean, I spot clean...ex. the toilet off our bedroom was getting pretty gross, so I figured it was time, but I haven't mopped the floor in over a month...how embarrassing, but it's the new owners problem now. lol
But, I gotta say...I do vacuum often ('cause the kitties make a mess with the cat litter) and I do dishes and laundry constantly.

1) clean your windows? rarely - but we had new windows put in a few months ago so I will be more on top of it
2) dust? every couple of weeks. I use windex more often where needed.
3) mop? use swiffer weekly - don't mop
4) vacuum? weekly
5) do laundry? weekly
6) do dishes? daily - usually wash since there are only 2 of us but sometimes use dish washer
7) scrub your toilet? ughh.... our bathroom was a disaster but it was redone just this past weekend so i will be scrubbing frequently to keep it new

1) clean your windows? once a year probably. Just moved there in October and my husband just did them last week.
2) dust? once every 2 weeks. I try to do that weekly, but it doesn't always work out.
3) mop? once every couple weeks or when company is coming/after company leaves
4) vacuum? i love to vacuum, so once a week or whenever I feel like it in between.
5) do laundry? feels like all the time! I don't know how 2 people make so much laundry.
6) do dishes? everyday if they're not going in the dishwasher. if it goes in the dishwasher, then i wait until its full (maybe every 2 days then?)
7) scrub your toilet? once every two weeks. We got the clorox tabs that go in the tank and that really helps in between scrubbings.

1) clean your windows? once or twice a year (we live in a garden level apartment and we don't have many windows with out bars over them, so i'm not in need of squeaky clean windows)

5) do laundry? every week i aim for 2 loads, if i wait much longer it piles up and gets to be too much
6) do dishes? after every meal i cook (usually once on weekdays, maybe more on weekends). i have a kosher kitchen so i can't let things pile up or it becomes a mess and i can't let meat and dairy plates touch each other... so it needs to get washed asap!

2) dust? When ever I see the dust and it bugs me. Pre-baby every week.
3) mop? I use a swiffer wet, and now that B. is mobile I really need to do it every week. I don't do it that often now because we don't wear shoes in the house.
4) vacuum? living room and kitchen 3 times a week, the rest of the apartment once a week. Between the cat and the wool rug that sheds it gets messy fast. Plus B. loves to find fuzzies and eat them.
5) do laundry? Probably twice a week, sometimes three times.
6) do dishes? Every day. I saw a mouse!l
7) scrub your toilet? I aim for once a week, but it is probably more like every 3 weeks...Ewww.
Once I start work I am getting a cleaning lady every other week.
1) clean your windows? once or twice a year.
2) dust? Every week or every other week.
3) mop? Almost never. Sometimes I do a quick wash with a rag.
4) vacuum? Weekly.
5) do laundry? I try to do it weekly but I'm notorious for waiting until I am out of underwear. Maybe 2-3 weeks at that point.
6) do dishes? I don't do dishes. Either H does them or the DW does, which gets run every few days.

4) vacuum? n/a, we don't have any carpet...but I sweep the hardwoods daily
