When I was TTC I used this tea, recommended by my midwife. It worked for me (well I was only trying 3 months) and for a friend (trying for 1.5 years). Also, she suggested I up my protein to 100 grams a day as well... The tea tastes good. It is loose tea so you will need a tea strainer or infuser...

Good luck! When we were TTC my son, we used the clear blue easy fertility monitor for about two cycles. That damn thing was expensive and completely useless since my cycles at that point were 40+ days.
Anyway, read the book if you can. It's a wonderful resource; there were some things in there that I had never even heard of. I will make it required reading for my hypothetical daughter.
Sometimes ovulation can be delayed for various reasons. I am normally very regular, but once I was off BC, I had some cycles when I ovulated really, really late. It was indeed very frustrating.
Try to have fun with it if you can. We were too uptight about TTC with my son, and it helped us a lot to take the focus off having a baby. Try not to stress over it until you've been trying for a year. But if your chart consistently shows a short luteal phase like you're talking about, maybe you should consider talking to your doctor.
Yeah my doc know we are in the last phases of the rest of the tests our last appointment is the 22nd. I have been off BC for 3 years. we have not been actively trying but we have not been avoiding a baby.
I will tell you a funny story...on sunday we went to visit soem friends and therew was a little asian lady who checks with her jade pendent how many kids you will have according to how it moves...and of course what happens to me? It doesnt move at all...you should have seen everyone looking at me all pitiful because they all know that we are trying and having no luck...it was just terrible.

Thanks. I am becoming more and more aware of the struggles people go through and to be honest it makes me nervous. I may have to hide it from DH though so he doesn't think I have gone completely baby crazy yet.
