has anyone heard of Scentsy products or know any consultants in the area?
does anyone have a home-based business? (mary kay, silpada, pampered chef) what has your experience been like? tia!

I guess I phrased that wrong. I realize there are consultants in the area per the Scentsy website, but was wondering if anyone knows any personally or has been to a party.
I wouldn't do it for the income, I just love the products and would want to share them with others.

I have a friend that sells Scentsy. She lives in the York area. Sorry, I haven't gone to any of her parties because DH is allergic to most scented products.

Hi, I live down in FL now (hoping to move back up to PA in the near future), but was a Pampered Chef consultant. The products are great and they have a great reputation. I have found, however, that, in this economy, people aren't as willing to spend top dollar for top quality when they can get something similar, of lower quality, for less money.
I have a friend who sold Partylite - they have great products, but she also found that the economy wasn't a huge help.
Good luck in whatever you decide - home businesses do help with meeting new people and having fun - just don't join solely for the $$
