new book..

While I was Target today I noticed in their book section they had a spot for their "club pick" It's a book meant for book clubs w/ the questions and all that in the back.

Of course this one looks like a tearjerker but maybe some of the other ones won't be as bad

Re: new book..

  • Good find! These ones popped out at me:

    Memory Keeper's Daughter

    Something Borrowed

    How to be Lost

    The Glass Castle

     The Year of Fog

  • That does look good, Kat!

I've read Something Borrowed and Something Blue.

Not sure I could read The Year of Fog - I'd have nightmares about Sarah disappearing.

Lost and Found looks good as do Best Friends and Friday Night Knitting Club.

I like this site, we used it for a book club at work. Have any of you read summer sister's by Judy Blume?

I've read Summer Sisters.  I enjoyed it but was a little shocked by certain parts of the book because I don't associate Judy Blume with writing about that stuff.  Good book though.  One thing freaked me out a little though.  Both my name and my ex's name were used as characters names in tat book which strikes me as odd since neither of our names are really common, especially his.

oh yes. I think at our next one we should serve cucumber sandwiches, tea in fancy little cups and maybe some fresh scones for dessert.

Than when everyone is starving we will order pizza Party!!!
