As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. TY note question
If a gift is from HH's side of the family, should he write it? Or are you writing all of them?

We didn't ask for gifts, but a friend of DH's family sent us a gift anyway. They were not able to make it to the wedding, and since I had never met them before, DH wrote the actual note, and then we both signed it.
If we had received gifts from someone I had actually met, I would have no problem writing the note. I guess it depends on the specific situation.
this may be overkill, but I typed out all my thank you notes in a word document. (I can type faster than I can write) I am now handwriting them onto my thank you cards, that way I already know what I'm going to say. HH can just copy the words onto his cards. I will write out most of them, including to his family, but he is going to write out his thank yous for his friends. Like for the chain saw his BM gave him, seriously, even though the gift was address to both of us, we all know it was for him.
i can't really say "thanks so much for the chainsaw..." in a sincere voice.
That's a really good idea. I always end up having to toss thank you notes simply because I didn't know what to say and crossed out a bunch of stuff.
Too funny about the chainsaw though!
