Re: Happy Monday!

  • BUSY weekend but a good one!

DH and I went to Sea World on Friday. Got home and started decorating a tank cake.

Saturday went to a friend's Tastefully Simple party, After hanging out I went and finished most of the cake.

Sunday I finished then delivered the cake, then went to the Book Club meeting. Had a great time! Got home and mowed/edged my lawn, cleaned out my front yard planter, cleaned out my garage, then finally drifted off to sleep around 1am!

I need a weekend to recoup from my weekend!

  • Lena- so no more hiding weeds :)

My weekend was busy as well. Sat-Isabel's dentist appt, than her hair appt, than we had to get some paperwork from my folks so they met us at our bread place. Than home for late lunch, some stuff around the house, than a late dinner. Sun-Took our dog to the groomers, than a trip to urgent care for me, than laundromat, getting a storage unit, picking Idk up, than after all this I was too tired and had a headache so DH offered to take me to the book club. I'm so glad I made it. I had a lot of fun. Afterwards it was a trip to supertarget and lowes, home for dinner and cleaning.
  • Glad to finally be able to post!

We had a good weekend. Dh is finally getting over being sick. We had a wedding Saturday. Church on Sunday and relaxed. Nothing else exciting.

Hope everyone has a great week!

  • Morning.

Friday I ran some errands and then went home and watched Alice in Wonderland.

Saturday we slept in and then headed to downtown Claremont for lunch at Espiau's.  After that we went so Sears DH needed a tool to work on his bike but we couldn't find what he was looking for.  After that we headed home to work on his motorcycle.

Sunday we got up and did some major grocery shopping and made a trip to target to restock on house cleaning supplies.  I didn't make it to the book club which I was bummed about.

Tonight I'm doing a whole lot of nothing!

  • Kat- seriously! I went into my planter and found about 10 weeds that needed to be gone... other than that I didn't consider it a messy planter... I think someone walked up to it and looked for the dang things because its tough to see them from the street, lol! Or maybe I'm just blind to it because it's my own house! :)

  • We went to Sedona this weekend to visit my grandparents. Left early Friday morning and got there by early afternoon. Visited with the grandparents Friday, Saturday we went into town, looked at the shops and went to the Sedona Heritage Museum. Saturday night went and saw Shrek. Sunday hung out with the grandparents, drove into PHX, visited with my cousin in PHX for a couple hours and drove home. Tonight, DH is at the Dodger game and I have no plans...
  • Oh good I'm glad we have a Monday post, I was wondering where it was :)

Friday H had his boys night and I had a couch potato night where I went to yoga then caught up on some shows and read some more of my next book club book.

Saturday I finally picked up my new running shoes and gave running another go. Fortunately I'm not too out of shape for not having run in 3 weeks and I finally decided to bite the bullet and sign up for the 4th of July 5k in Huntington Beach with my SIL.  Sat night we went up to Diamond Bar for a party my cousins were throwing and had a great time hanging out with the fam.

Sunday got in another yoga class and then went to the ILs for dinner.

Hope today goes by fast because I set the wrong alarm this morning and got to work an hour late and now it's totally throw me off!

I keep trying not to hog it but then I miss out. Well soon I will be on unemployment so I will hopefully sleep past 5:30. Tongue Tied

  • Nothing too big this weekend. The highlight was definitely book club. I came back so refreshed and ready to give it another go. Other than that it was painting, laundry, reading, and grocery shopping.
  • Happy monday hope all you ladies had a good start to the week.

We Had a good weekend DH and I did some work around the house on sat  I was pretty lazy but I think I needed it. I watched "My sister's Keeper" and made myself cry even though the book was just so much more sad! DH thinks I am nuts for crying like that...hahaha.Then we had to go to MIL house because their family pet of 30years passed away, the Donkey...yes I said Donkey! it was actually sad. Took care of that as well and then on Sunday went to pick up MIL form airport she was returning from Japan. Poor lady was sad about the donkey when she got home. Not a terribly bad weekend.
