Saw on FB that you bought an iPad!

What do you think of it? Is it as cool as it looks?

I've been eyeing them for awhile, but then I read this article on Yahoo Finance. I can't imagine. That's a mortgage payment! Then again, I'm sure all of those extras aren't necessary. What's your opinion - did you end up getting any protection plans or accessories? Does it require any data packages?

Most of all, is it worth the cost?

I'd like to know if it's worth it too. I'm thinking my iphone is enough for me right now but maybe if I saw one in person, I'd want it. But then again I can't see myself spending that money right now.

word on twitter is that they love it for surfing the internet instead of a using a laptop but it sucks for reading books because it's backlit and hurts their eyes so the kindle/whatever win for that. I'm all microsoft based stuff except for the iphone, so I'm waiting to see what kind of tablet they come out to rival it and if they do. It would only be important for me, because I could show my portfolio on it and then have contracts signed immediately right there.

I have not gotten a chance to play with it a ton, but so far I love it.

We just got the 32G with Wi-Fi, and not with the 3G. If you are going to places with Wi-Fi, you don't need the 3G (and that is extra cost per month through ATT). I think that I am just fine with the Wi-Fi.

I love the e-reader on it, and that is one of the main reasons that I wanted it.

I mean it really is just a larger version of the ITouch, but I love that I kind of now have my own little computer to take everywhere with me. I have been using it for pretty much everything that I would do on our desktop, but I can take it everywhere with me. We have also been watching movies on it, and love it. I am so excited to go camping this summer and taking it with us to watch movies.

The only accessories that I am going to get is a cover for it. I think that the keyboard on it is big enough and I have not had a problem typing on it.

Are you still filing for bankruptcy? Cause if you are, I find this purchase completely irresponsible. Ever entertain the concept of delayed gratification? I just don't understand how someone can be so in debt that they want/need to file bankruptcy but yet think they are entitled or deserve the newest "it" toy. I make no apologies for this post or my opinion.
