Ry has a broken leg :-(
Long story short, last night Neil wanted to take Ry down the slide at the park, but in doing so, Ryan's croc caught traction and he tumbled down the slide and somehow hurt himself.
He wouldn't put weight on it last night, but there was no swelling, bruising, etc, but when he wouldn't bear weight this morning, we took him to PMCH.
The tibia is fractured in two places, right above the balls of his ankles. The bones buckled and then fractured. By law, they had to call CPS and do full body x-rays to check for signs of abuse, but obviously, we cleared all of that. He has a fiberglass splint now and tomorrow we go in to the pediatric orthopedic specialist for a cast.

Was it a twirly slide? I've heard of that happening a few times, in fact they had a little tidbit in the Parents magazine. They said not to go down in tandem on those slides. Brian did it yesterday with Mia and I bit my tounge. He was too big for it so he said I could do it next time. I think I will have to mention that we probably should do big slides with her a while.
Ouch. Hope that he gets better. How is he dealing with the pain? Hope your and DH are doing ok.
