I need to block people on FB
This was written as the FB status on one of DH's old college roomies wall:
Is it weird to feel a tad bit jealous or uncomfortable knowing that a male Gynecologist is doing his thing on your girlfriend? I know it sounds ridiculous and I realize that these people are licensed practitioners and probably see it every day, but I have never heard of them being neutered before becoming licensed Gynecologists. Are they all gay? It doesn't help matters that my girlfriend is so hot.
Could be any more small minded? I am highly annoyed by this. I had to hold back from saying "He's probably more concerned with how to get your girlfriend to stop having kids with so many different baby daddies" (3rd kid, 3rd baby daddy). I didn't. I just made a nice point that I doubt many male gynos get in to the speciality to see vaginas, but rather because they enjoy the field and helping woman through pregnancy and birth. Not because they love the vag.

I wonder at what point in a male Gynecologist's life he came to the realization, "ya know what? I want to work with vaginas and get paid well for it!!!" I mean, I personally have never met an abundance of males who had a fascination with fallopian tubes, uteruses and cervixes.....who weren't total perverts.With the stank, the goop and the nastiness of what they see, I doubt very seriously that any of it is "hot".
A friend of mines Mom was a gyn and she said some of the things that they witnessed were awful. What a poor creature. His brain must be really, really small.

Seriously??? People are stupid.
I later, of course, came up with a multitude of good comebacks. One being that if all male gynos are pervs, than all male urologists must be pervs too. Honestly, can't people see it as a professional job? I am appalled at the comments he got agreeing with him. Mostly from men.
I wonder if he worries about his mechanic working on his car, too.
It makes me so sad that women and women's bodies can still be sexually objectified and considered possessions in this way. Especially in AMERICA, let alone the rest of the world.
He goes on my permanent contraception list. And so does she, with her three baby-daddies. These sweethearts were probably given abstinence-only health classes.
Amen! When will we realize that people like to have lots of sex with lots of different people, and we need to give them the tools to prevent unplanned pregnancies and STD infections! AUUUUUUUUGH!
