You are almost 30 weeks! How exciting! How have you been feeling?
Re: *Breanne*
I know! And you're 35 weeks! All of sudden it seems like its just around the corner that you, softskate and I will be having the next round of Novembabies!
I had been feeling really good and was sleeping like a 5 hour stretch at night, but that came to a screeching halt last night. I've started having some carpal tunnel symptoms in my left hand, hip pain depending on which one I've been sleeping on, and my feet swell when I do too much at home (for some reason I'm much more careful at work about resting, etc. than I am at home). Baby is rapidly running out of room, but stubbornly hanging out in the transverse position. Yesterday I thought s/he was going to kick and punch his or her way out of the sides of the womb. I explained it'd be a little roomier in there if s/he would go head up or head down, but no luck thus far.
First baby shower is this weekend. One of our convertible carseats arrived yesterday (DH doesn't know I registered for one for each car. He thought that was silly. He's never installed/uninstalled a carseat or played musical cars, or been the one stuck at home with no way to leave b/c you have a baby, a car and no carseat. I have. Major PITA. Ergo, 2 carseats.)
What about you?
Good thinking re: two carseats! We're going to start out with 1 seat and 2 bases and see how it goes, I think.
I've been feeling pretty well -- starting to get a little more uncomfortable, especially when settling down at night. Definitely feeling the belly. Still sleeping fairly well, thankfully!
Last time my doctor checked, baby was head down. Sometimes I feel like she's more transverse, though, given the pressure I feel on both sides of my stomach. Maybe she's just extending her arms all the way out?! I start going to my weekly appointments on Friday, hopefully the doctor will confirm her position then!
I KNEW there was another Novembie due soon...yay, softskate!
