I got into the office early this morning because my boss has a meeting here and I wanted to get some things prepared for him. I hopped on the elevator and someone yelled "Hold the elevator". Something in my gut told me not to, but I did anyway. This man gets on the elevator with me (totally doesn't look like he belongs in our building b/c he looks like he's dressed to go clubbing or something). We are on the elevator and he told me I had a "banging body". Okay.... counting down the seconds until I get to my floor. Then as I'm getting off he tells me "Listen I just got out of the half way house and I haven't been with a woman".... I said no and THANK GOD got to my floor and walked off the elevator. He then started to walk off the elevator, but I got my office door open and slammed it in his face. I'm so freaked out right now. I just called our building company to let them know of the incident, but no one is in yet. I'm keeping my office door locked until someone else comes in next door or until my boss gets here. I'm SOOOO freaked out right now.
I'm the only one who works in my office and the people who have the office next door are in and out throughout the day. I totally don't feel safe here right now.
Thanks for listening to me vent. I'm still shaking!

Thanks ladies. I finally got a hold of our building management company and they got him on tape. I'm calling the police to file a report after my meeting is over this morning.
Also after my meeting is over I'm the only one IN my office the rest of the day. I'm so glad I'm going on the 'road' tomorrow for work.
How scary! Does your building have an on-site security person or building manager that can stop by to check on you throughout the day and monitor the area?
I worked in an office once where we were the only office in the building, and there were homeless people in the building. Needless to say we moved out as soon as we could, but it was really scary working there. We always kept our office doors locked AND the exterior doors locked.
Anyhow, keep things locked and defiantely make sure the police know. And you are doing it right by calling building management and what not.
This! Wow! What a crappy start to the day.
Stay safe girl!
Woman's intuition is always right! I am so relieved that you're safe! I too would've been under my desk! Of course my DH works up the street...that dude would've had a slew of zoo guys after him!
You stay safe!
