It's Hump day!

Get your hump on!

aka

Good Morning. I'm tired. DH was out till almost midnight working on suspension in his car. SO, I decided (after work at the gym) that I'd do work around the house... 2 loads of laundry, dishes, clean the kitchen, dining room (kinda), bedroom, change sheets, clean the bathroon (including scrub the tub and shower... all after 9:30pm until DH got home and then passing out about 1am.

Today better fly.

Re: It's Hump day!

  • Shell, you were super productive!

I'm starting off my morning watching the season finale of Glee that I missed last night.  Then I have tons of work to do today, including just about everything Shell did last night!!!

    <div align=
  • I really was only as productive as I was because of 3 reasons:

    1. That stuff HAD to be done else I was going to go nuts!

    2. I didn't think it was fair for DH to be busitng his tail working hard and then me just come home with so much needing to be done and just sitting on my arse.

    3. It kept me up to wait on when DH got home so that we could spend some time together instead of him coming home with me already asleep.

  • Morning! I was asleep by 9:30 last night, which helped, but I'm still a little tired.  Busy day today though, so I won't feel it too much.

  • Good morning. Last night wasn't so bad, but tonight will be crazy getting everything ready to head out of town. We have to buy all our food, etc.

Oh, and DH screwed up last night and I'm still pissed. He forgets the most basic things (like uh, close the garage and lock the door when you've reopened them after they were already locked up for the night). I was not a happy camper this morning.

ugh. That just makes me twitchy. Just knowing our stuff could be hanging out all night. Zip it!

My emails this morning have set. me. off. I just feel like that scene out of Clue where Ms White is trying to explain.

Flames, on the side of my face... Fire.. .fire was shooting...

AngryARRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHH. Ineptitude just makes me batty.

  • Morning! I gotta leave in a couple hours for my biz trip. I am excited to be going to Houston so I can enjoy the swanky hotel, LOL. I will miss BF though. :(  He worked until 10pm last night getting my dryer up and running for me. The poor guy had to run to Lowe's at 9:30 and get a new electrical cord and rewire the dryer so it would work. Thank goodness he fixed it cuz I had no clean clothes left! He's so awesome.

My DH is famous for doing crap like this.  And he's going to get a big surprise this weekend, because I have a whole list of things for him to do around the house that he's tried to avoid doing.  There will be no escape this time!

I really do not know how you tolerate such a horrible husband! I would have kicked him to the door a LONG time ago! You must be the most patient wife in the world!

He's just in need of some additional intensive training Wink

  • Good morning! We stuffed our faces at Cafe Intermezzo last night - SO GOOD! I'm exhausted and on a big sugar high this morning :)
  • Natalie, I'm glad you enjoyed CI!  DH and I need to find time and go back!

Right! I was pissed enough when I walked by this morning and saw the door was unlocked. I told him when he got up that he was in trouble for leaving the door unlocked. Then, when we got ready to leave and we opened said door to see the garage open, I lost it. Oh, and bonus - he left the garage light on too. Why not hang a big flashing "rob me" sign too? This freaks the hell outta' me, especially now that we know there is a meth-head living down the street (according to our other neighbors). Awesome. At least I turned on the alarm last night.

Goodness gracious! I'd be freaked the eff out too!
  • Apparently I am the opposite of all of you, because I could care less about leaving the garage door open, LOL. BF is totally that way though, and got on me big time about not being secure enough at home (according to him.)

DH called me OCD b/c every time I lock the door, I double check it to make sure it's locked... there have even been times that I didn't realize that I checked it and either go back and check or freak out during the day (If I've already left for work).

It IS a big deal. You should keep your doors locked and the alarm on at all times. You are a female living by yourself in an older neighborhood. In other words, a target.

Oh, I do! My doors are always locked and my alarm is always on. His idea of me not being secure enough is that I don't yet have curtains on all my windows. Those suckers cost a lot of money!

get the paper temporary blinds.  we still have them in some of our windows that we don't let up, because i actually like the look of them better than regular blinds.

  • Went to bed at 7pm in an attempt to drive off this stinking migraine I've had all week.11 hours of sleep later, my head still feels like its about to explode. Ugh.
