What the flying eff?!

It's the last day of school. I can understand that our kids are completely bonkers of their rockers. But THIS is not something I ever expected to have to do.

I just walked into the cafe (like our commons area), and had to break up a game that was, essentially, BEER PONG (without the beer). They had the red plastic party cups, filled with water, and ping pong balls.

I FLIPPED THE EFF OUT. Q: Where did you learn how to play this (A: What? It's beer pong. Everyone knows) Me: NO!! You are freshmen and sophomores in HIGH SCHOOL. I didn't even know beer pong existed until college

...I can't get any work done today and I'm furious and it's too loud and I just want to go home, and now I'm going to be a PW.

  • My kids see it being played at our subdivision pool.  Laura it isn't uncommon these days to see beer pong.

Okay...fair enough...I was a sheltered kid. But to play in the high school commons area, then laugh hysterically when I ask them to please find a different game to play...I don't know. I'm just really annoyed and that sent me over the edge.

  • I agree.  I knew about beer pong when I was in high school.  HOWEVER it is 100% inappropriate for them to be playing in school at all.  I would be fuming mad if these kids thought they could get away with playing this in my class.

I hope they didn't switch to another drinking game like Circle of Death or A$$hole

  • Shoot...there's even a Beer Pong version on Wii.  And, I suck at both the Wii & RL versions equally.
