Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

A twinge of jealousy....
My mum and SIL are leaving for NYC on Friday. My sister is going to a 2 week photography camp. She is actually paying for it all by herself but after the 2 weeks, my parents are meeting her and spending 5 days in NYC. (They're going to conferences in RI and Boston during the 2 weeks) I never went anywhere very cool with my parents growing up and my sister gets to go to all these places. They take road trips every summer to places I'd love to go to! They said I can come with, but of course I can't take time off work - it sucks having commitments!

I completely understand! Right before I got engaged, my grandparents were still living with us (and alive) and so was the family dog.
One summer, my parents went on vacation to Myrtle Beach, and took my little brother and sister. Since I still lived at home, and was going to college and working I couldnt go. I had to stay back and watch the dog and my grandparents.
