Greece was good, though I was disappointed by Santorini. Everyone makes it sound like heaven on earth but I found it kind of gritty and not as quaint as I expected. Overall though we had a really great trip and it was a wonderful way to celebrate our fifth anniversary.
No pics yet, but maybe I'll get around to posting them later.

Hooray!! Sounds like you had a fabulous time, welcome back!!
I can't wait to see pics from Greece- the Mediterranean is my favorite "region" and I keep telling DH that's our next vacation!

Fantastic! We are leaving for a cruise in 4 weeks around Greece, your pics just got me excited all over again!

The flights and all logistics ended up working out fine, thank goodness. At the last minute I found out that the BA flight that had been cancelled was re-instated so I did spend another 90 minutes on hold to get back on that flight (otherwise I would have had to switch terminals at Heathrow to get to Athens and I didn't really want to do that), but otherwise things were fine. Thanks for asking!
Favorite part of the trip? I don't know, a little bit of everything I guess. Exploring new sites with DH, hanging out on the beach doing nothing, partying with the hotel staff and other guests at our hotel in Naxos, eating...hard to pick one particular thing.
