Poll: Help Nicole name her baby boy....

By narrowing the list.  What boys names should she NOT consider? (Or boys names that bug you.)

  • (sorry, that post went through some edits)
  • Well now that we are sort of sure it's a boy.  We have a couple of names we are thinking about but I am definitely up for suggestions!  We are looking for something unique and something that represents my husband's heritage for a first name and my heritage as a middle name.

... well.... you probably shouldn't name a girl those names either... Stick out tongue

    What's your heritage?

  • I'm Irish and my husband is Mexican.  For a first name, we like Esai (which is pronounced Ee-sigh) and is Spanish for Isaiah.  It means God is Salvation.

No ideas on middle names yet.

I like Esai, I've never heard that before. Hmmm...Esai would work with lots of Irish names. Are you thinking english-sized version or the gaelic?

  • And, actually, you can't get much more Irish (IMO) than Cormac. Esai Cormac?

  • I'm not going to be of any help, I don't like names that you don't know how to pronounce after reading it.  Sorry, I just feel like some names will just cause problems.  Even my name... it's "normal," but it's spelled in a way that's not the most popular way.  I HATE when people misspell it, which happens ALL THE TIME.  Even people who I've worked with for many years, they still spell it wrong.  Why make it hard on your kid, you know?

  • I'm old fashioned...if my daughter was a boy, the name would have been Devin Patrick.  My husband campaigned for Dewayne, but I think he was just jerking my chain.  As a teacher...the originial, unusual names can be a trial.  Right now there are four girls in a group I work with named Katelyn.  Every one of the 4 spells it differently.  (Caitlin, Caitlyn, Katelyn and Katelin)  Makes me nuts  Confused
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!
