Have any of you ladies had a will drawn up lately? Hubby and I want to get one done soon. It just needs to be really basic, to appoint a guardian for the little guy, and to take care of a couple of property issues. Is it safe to use one of those online forms since it will be pretty basic, or is it really best to have an estate attorney do it?
Thanks!!
Re: Need advice about wills
Well any attorney will say you want them to look lol
I think one of the online forms is a good start, they say even a 'hand-written' will is acceptable just not ideal.
I don't have a lawyer recc, but someone around here might
GL!
i work in the legal field! i started in wills, deeds, estates, trusts, ect.
it really depends on what you want. a notrized 'online' form will do just fine. but imo, if your cash assests total more than $350k or so i would seek to find an atty to draw everything up. you can find a 'prepaid' legal services offices almost anywhere these days. hth!
