Big Ultrasound on Friday at 10:30 am!

I am so excited, but I'm also a little nervous.  I just told my SIL on FB that for some reason, this time around, I felt like it was either twins, or that something would go wrong.  I have no idea why, because I never felt like this with Lily, but the feeling has always been there.  At my first ultrasound at almost 9 weeks, doc said she couldn't see a second baby, but we haven't had an ultrasound since then, so it could still be twins!  haha, probably not though as they've listened the HB since then and they only hear one.  I'm a twin and that's why I was thinking it could easily be twins.  As far as something going wrong, I just have felt that way, and I dont really know why.  I'm sure everything is fine, but I can't wait to get in and make sure everything is healthy and that the baby looks great!

We wont be finding out the sex of the baby, so you'll all just have to wait.  ;o)  We're going to have the ultrasound tech print out a picture of the baby's special parts and write on a piece of paper what it is and put it in an envelope to save for after the baby is born just to see if they were right or not, which is what we did with Lily.  Although, these days, I'm sure there's really no mistaking with how clear ultrasounds are...but still, it can happen!

Anyway, I'm just excited and wanted to share with yall!

  • Good luck and enjoy! Mine was so uncomfortable on Mon as my bladder was so full! Luckily they let me go to the bathroom after the first 5 mins! Our u/s tech actually didn't ask us if we wanted to know the gender, she just told us and even though we already knew, she didn't know that so make sure you tell that tech before you get started just in case!!!!

Thanks!  I will be sure to tell them because I really dont want to know at all!  When I was pg with Lily, I drank as much water as I was supposed to and I couldn't make it to the doctors office without having to go.  And we were on the hwy so DH pulled over and Luckily I was in a loose fitting skirt so I just went in the woods.  Lol!  I got to the doctors and they weren't too pleased, and said well you'll have to wait a little while longer, and I was like, that's fine... because I knew I tried super hard to hold it, and I couldn't any longer.  Yeah...not fun.  (It turns out that she got excellent pictures of everything even without the full bladder.)
