Lady on the news tonight
This lady in WA died with 4 million and something dollars. Apparently she was VERY frugal and saved every penny. They said she would go to the library to read books and newspapers, used zippers for shoelaces because she didn't want to buy new shoelaces, cut her own hair, etc. She was probably 80 or so.
They said that you would never have known. She put in her will that she wanted all her money to go toward her town of about 1300. I think they used some of it to build a community pool for the kids and some other things.
I just thought that was amazing how someone could save that much and they said that you would never have known.
I am sure this gave this little town a boost.
