I just found out that our front roses are called Iceberg shrub roses. Do you care for shrub roses the same way as other roses in terms of deadheading, etc..? Any tips on how to do that? I find that the flowers are so delicate when they've wilted that the petals fall apart like paper when you touch them. But is it important to deadhead them? Is there any other care specific to shrub roses that I should know about? And what about in the winter---do you trim it down 1/3 like other roses? Do you let yours grow hips for the winter and then prune?
Thanks in advance! Sorry for all the questions---I'm new at this!
