Hostage situation a couple of blocks away!
I guess they've evacuated an apartment complex. There's a guy in an apartment suspected of murder holding a child hostage. The SWAT team on there now. I hope they get the child out safely.

It's STILL going on! Lots of the streets are blocked off. I really hope it gets resolved soon.
Sacramento is a funny place. Where my parents live is one of the safest towns in the USA, and a few blocks from my work it's very safe, but there are some pockets that are not so nice. However, that said, it's better than Stockton! I'm scared for my life when I go there!
