Family Vacation

Next weekend, we're headed on a family vacation to Mackinaw. We've done this in the past, but this is the first time since my sisters and I having kids or step-kids. It will be my mom, step-dad, two sisters, their husband and fiance, four nieces (9, 3, 8 months, 3 months), step-brother (14), my step-sons (8 and 11), and DH and I. This is either going to be fun or a complete disaster never to occur again!

Aw, I LOVE Mackinaw! I used to go there all the time as a kid and we even thought of getting married there. Hope you guys have a great trip!

I'm sure it's gonna be a lot of fun.

I love Mackinaw...my first vacation with DH (and where i fisrt started falling in love with him) was up North and to Mackinac Island.

We go up there about once a year with DH's family (parents, nieces and nephew) and we always have a great time...the kids love it.

I think you'll have a blast. We go to the OBX with my IL's on Saturday for a week and its something we do every summer. We have a HUGE group (19 people) including DH's parents, 2 brothers, sister, their husband and wives, 2 aunts, 2 uncles, 2 cousins, and grandmother. We also have our son who is 4, and our niece (3) and nephew (16 months). This year two of us are pregnant too so I think next year is going to be even crazier. I love trips like this with the entire family, I think that's why I loved having a destination wedding so much. Enjoy yourself!
