I went through about 10 pages of Austin Nestie posts and could not find any post about iPhone app recommendations....
Which ones do you like and why?
So far I don't have too many....and I'm obsessed with WWF...

Seriously though... I don't use very many except facebook, Twitteriffic, and the weather channel on a daily basis.
Others I like: style.com, Groupon, Rock Band (paid version), AIM (free version), Glee (freakin awesome app), TripIt (if you travel), CabSense (if you travel to NYC), AroundMe, Yelp, Flixter (for movie showtimes), mint.com (for checking up on our finances), wordpress (for the few times I blog).
Netflix is coming out with an app finally this summer. Hopefully I'll be able to use it on my 3G iphone...

words with friends is addicting
It doesn't look like that streams content though, does it? I'm talking about this one. You'll be able to actually watch stuff from your instant queue or instant play. It's out for the iPad, but the iPhone version is coming out this summer. Steve Jobs was talking about it this week when he debuted the iPhone 4. That's why I'm wondering if it'll work with my older iPhone...

Ah, for streaming...I doubt it. I just use mine to put movies in my que so as far as I know it's good for that.

Here are a few that I have that were not listed yet:
Qrank - Daily trivia, and very addicting. You can see how well you did amongst your facebook friends. Also, locally, nationally and globally. Free!
NPR app- I am very addicted to NPR, but I really dislike KUT. They play too much music for my tastes, and I want to hear talk news. You can sort by show or station and listen to that stream. Free, as well.
Pandora- Great for streaming music. I use this while working out and in the car all of the time.
Epicurious app- Good for groceries, recipes, etc.
Doodle Jump- very addicting platformer game.
Spider- Very beautiful game...sort of adventurey, sort of platformy. You play as a spider catching bugs, but the backgrounds tell a story about a couple who live in the place that you are hunting at.
I like:
Moxie (a word game, hard to describe, but very fun)
Wurdle (another word game, kind of like boggle)
