Weekend plans
Since today is my Friday my weekend starts tomorrow. I won't be on here so I thought I'd post this today, especially since it seems we're slow again (peeps still having issues with The Nest?).
What are y'all up to this weekend?
M asked me to take tomorrow off so we can have 1 extra day together before he goes on 2nd shift next week, after that we'll only see each other on the weekends, and that's if he doesn't have to work OT. I'm actually glad I have it off so I don't have to deal with the traffic in the morning. One of our local news stations is doing their "Zip Trip" to this town and I can only imagine what the traffic will be like from it. M has to go into work just for a couple hours to finish training for something. He said he'll take me to lunch in the afternoon. That works because I'll just get up when he does so I can get some serious cleaning done (I've been seriously slacking) before he gets back home. I know I know, I'm crazy for not taking the opportunity to sleep in on a day off but I need to clean badly.
Saturday we are babysitting our niece, we haven't spent time with her in a few weeks so it should be fun.
I don't yet know what he has up his sleeve, if anything for Sunday.

I'll be shopping after we find out the sex tomorrow morning! I'm hoping to drag DH to the outlets tomorrow night so I can go to Carter's and Osh Kosh. I'm so excited to finally buy things!
Our main plans are to relax around the house since we were gone for almost 2 weeks. We really need to get started on the baby's room and I'm wondering if I can twist DH's arm to hit up Babies R Us to start registering.

Flip, Carter's is having a 70% sale right now . . . you should go before the weekend. (I think its over today?) I bought a ton of clothes there Wed for Bebe and found some great deals.
Even though I still work tomorrow, we have plans for tonight too lol.
Tonight we are going to the midnight feature of The Karate Kid. We really think it's going to be good, though don't expect it to be similar to the original... It's stupid to even be considered a remake they should have come up with a new name, but w/e. It'll be good and I'm stoked.
Tomorrow - Sunday we don't have a lot of plans. We were going to go to a friends in Virginia, but plans got cancelled at the beginning of the week. We plan on making a trip to the local theme park again this weekend since we have passes, but no definite day. Otherwise, we'll probably play some games together, hang with friends, and watch Buffy. Hopefully it's a nice relaxing weekend.
Thanks! I got an email from Carter's this morning saying they were having a sale but I can't find anything on their site saying when it ends. Hopefully it will go through tomorrow night!
Tomorrow: Seriously considering calling out to watch the Mexico vs. South Africa game.....a bunch of friends are gonna be at a local sports bar watching it.....at 7 AM!!! Tomorrow night: We are going to dinner to celebrate our niece's b-day and FIL's b-day.
Saturday: Laundry, watching World Cup games, lunch and Target with DH. He works Saturday night so I may go hang out at my parents house.
Sunday: Church, more World Cup, and Game 5 of the NBA finals.
Tomorrow - going to dinner with friends.
Saturday - going to a picnic with my family (it's supposed to be really hot and humid, so I wonder how long I'll last
). Maybe getting together with friends in the evening.
Sunday - FINALLY going to look for a new car for DH.
Friday- DH has a race starting at 2:00 till11:00pm. I don't think we'll stay that long because DH is an old man and HAS to go to bed early. He just can't stay awake..lol. Anyways I won't be able to race so BIL is racing my car.
Saturday- MOVING!!!!! and all that goes with that.
Sunday- Church and rest from moving.
We are going to finish unpacking the last two rooms and maybe check out this shopping area near our house that has man-made lakes:

This weekend I am nesting! yay! I will be doing baby's laundry, organizing the dresser & changing table, knitting, and relaxing.
DH will be with "the guys" at their ATF weekend. (Alcohol Tobacco Firearms)...they are dining and whatnot on Friday night, crashing at our house, then going out-state on Saturday to go to a gun range and target shoot, then grilling out/drinking/cigar smoking/sleeping at another guy's house on Saturday night. He'll be home on Sunday.
This is his last outing before Chiclet arrives...he better enjoy it!
The wife at the Saturday night house knows I am pregnant, so she will be DH's driver if anything happens to me.

Friday: waiting on pins and needles to find out about FlipFlop's baby, then one of my bff's is coming over to have dinner, spend the night, and help us get ready for our yard sale.
Saturday: enjoying the sunny, mid-70's weather that is finally coming, holding a yard sale
Sunday: possibly day 2 of the yard sale, if we don't move enough junk on day 1, and my SMIL is going to be arriving some time in the afternoon and staying with us for the night before she heads back to CA. I have to get up at the butt crack on Monday to get her to the airport by 6 am. Woo.
Would you expect anything less?! LOL!

Friday - DH's little sister is graduating from high school so we are going to the graduation.
Saturday - We are going to the Brad Paisley concert!! I am so excited!!
Sunday - Sleeping in and possibly going to a local horse show.
