So, we've known for a while that the guy who lived in our house before us (we just bought it in October) was an...interesting character. In addition to being an Aflac salesman with about 6 million stuffed ducks arranged bizarrely around the house he also had a weird obsession with pineapple decor and owned a portable shaved ice tiki stand business. He also tried to tell us that there is dedicated greenbelt behind our house when, in fact, there is clearly just another neighborhood.
He did sort of a crap job of clearing all his stuff out when he moved, and from time to time we will stumble across some of his leftovers. A box of grody old golf balls here, a solitary white high heel sandal with a fuzzy lime green sole there, every now and then an old tiki receipt or pineapple figurine; you get the idea.
Today, however, I happened upon a rather...personal trinket. We have these ridiculously high shelves in our closet, and as I was up on a ladder trying to measure the florescent lights (they went out and our closet is dark and creepy) I saw a little VHS tape on one of them. With the names of two girls and one guy. Followed by a slash mark and the names of two other girls. Under the tape was a release form. For "filming an actress in an adult role".
Like a 5 year old I laughed so hard I almost fell off the ladder. Thanks for the housewarming gift, creeper!

Just a warning - keep in mind that there are things that you cannot "un-see." Ducks + pineapples + sex tape = potential to go VERY wrong!
