Earlier this week, DH and I purchased bikes for $300 a piece. There is a low price guarantee on them (which we have searched and haven't found anything lower) and a satisfaction guarantee. Well, now the store is having a big sale and offering 15% off all purchases, which would have saved us $90! However, the sale says it doesn't apply to previous purchases.
1. Would you go back and try to get the sale applied?
2. If they didn't apply the sale, would you return the bikes under the satisfaction guarantee and then rebuy them to get the sale price?
$90 is a lot of money, and I'm frustrated they didn't give us a head's up about this sale. We bought our bikes on Monday (after their first grand opening sale) and didn't think they would be offering other grand opening sales, but obviously we were wrong.
Update: DH ran over to Performance this morning and they gave us $96 back without any problems! I love that place! Yippee for amazing customer service!
Re: WWYD?- Updated!
i would definitely try and if they do give you a hassle then you have every right to return and repurchase. hopefully, they wont be so difficult and just give you back the difference.
i want a bike so bad
Yep I'd go back. $90 is a nice chunk of money. I'm betting they'll work with you, especially if it comes down to you saying you'll just return the bikes then.
Good luck!
I agree. If they don't give you the $90, then definitely return them!
It's a good day for great Customer Service!!!!
