How long does it last?

I've been married for 8 days now and I so miss my wedding day! I just stare at pictures and miss that day so much! How long does that last?

I felt that way for probably about a month straight. Now I just feel that way sometimes. I'm not sure why, but sometimes I will be looking at the pictures and I really miss Cancun & our wedding. I think it's normal. Our wedding was perfect, exactly what I had been envisioning... it was so much fun & I loved every moment in Cancun. So... of course I miss it! I'm sure it's the same for you, it's normal

I still feel that way 7 months later. I think when you have an amazing wedding then that feeling hangs on. It's not as consuming as it was the first couple months, but I still think about Hawaii and that week daily and it makes me smile Smile

Thanks girls, glad to know I'm not alone! I think mine also has to do with the fact that I'm a mom (this is my 2nd marriage) so it was really nice to have a day about me, I know that sounds selfish, but it's all about my daughter (which is how it's suppose to be!) but it was so nice to feel pretty and not have food all over me! haha!

I'm 15 days away from my 1 year anniversary and I still feel that way as does DH and our guests. They are constantly asking for a reunion! I say as long as they're paying this time ;-) I hope it remains fresh for me for years to come! Treasure the feeling

I feel this way a year and a half later. I just think about that week and I so wish I could relive it. My guests also ask for a reunion cruise. To me this means that I made the right decision to have a DW and that it was a week where lifelong fond memories for many were made.
