The W or Marriott at Legacy Center?
Hey DFW nesties! DH and I are coming down from OKC for a shopping trip for my birthday. We're trying to decide where we want to stay.
I know these hotels are totally different... but we like Legacy Center because it seems like there is a lot to do around there and it seems to be a pretty good location. We'll probably do some shopping at the Allen Outlet and Northpark Mall. The W looks more modern and trendy.... but are there a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance? Thanks for any input!

I'd go with the Marriott. There are a few nice restaurants around the W and Craft at the W is great, but that's about it. It was gearing up to be a big fancy eating/shopping area and then the recession hit and most everything there shut down.
There's a lot of places to eat at Legacy and some boutique stores and nearby malls. They also have live bands playing outside at night with a lot of surrounding patios to chill/drink at.
