Stupid poll inside

What brand of face wash do you use?

Re: Stupid poll inside

  • clinique something or other in the mornings and biore warming scrub before bed -- I tend to switch often.  Before this I used Philosophy purity and exfoliating wash but when I ran out I just bought something cheaper.  I really like the clinique - the biore is ok.
  • L'oreal. The new one with the little scrubber in the bottle.

  • I switch it up.

Currently - If my face skin is acting up, I will use Neutrogena Healthy Skin - Anti Wrinkle Anti Blemish Cleanser.  It leaves my facing feeling very clean, and it has salicylic acid to help fight blemishes.  I'm not sure how it helps w/ wrinkles, as I'm only 26 and have yet to experience this, but I thought why not prevent!

If my skin looks good, then I stick with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash - it has some salicylic acid, but not as much as the first product.  I can't use the first product too often, or it will dry out my skin.

Every three to four days I exfoliate using St. Ives (not sure what one, gentle, perhaps?)

I use a toner at night time, Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Stress Control, Triple Action.

Daytime Lotion, Olay complete SPF 15 - light, non greasy.   If I go out at night, I sometimes apply Clean and Clear Pore Perfecting Moisturizer - It's a little heavy (imo) for all the time.  At night, I apply a thick night cream, generally something that helps repair, and works to fight wrinkles, currently using something from CVS.   I also want to add, that my favorite moisturizer, is Aveeno something or other that works with your skin, and it used to be like $8, but now it's $17, and I can't justify the cost, but I still love it.

About 2 months ago, I purchased Help Me, a retinol product from Philosophy, and I have noticed a huge difference in my skin, and my pores. However, it's a little on the expensive side for what you get.

  • Cetaphil. Very gentle and basic. I was using St. Ives Apricot Scrub but my aesthetician said a gentler wash would be better for my face to fight break outs. She was right!
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • Guess I should answer my own poll.

I switch mine up a lot -- partly because I keep getting new goodies in my Clinique bonus gifts.

Face Washes: Clinique Acne Solutions Step 1, Target brand Cetaphil (just got it last night), Clinique Daily Face Wash, St. Ives every couple of days

Toners: Clinique Acne Solutions Step 2 (but I forgo this on lazy days/nights

Moisturizers: Clinique Acne Solutions Step 3, Clinique Moisture Surge (love this one!), Clinique regular moisturizer, Neutrogena Sensitive Skin.

I also have a crapton of eyemakeup removers and eye creams.

    This exactly.

For moistturizers I use Cetaphil face lotion, and Oil of Olay night replenishing anti-aging night cream (most nights)

  • I only use the Oil of Olay Daily Facials Cleansing Cloths for sensitive skin. I've never had trouble w/ acne though, even as a teenager. I've used cleansers and scrubs or whatnot, but my skin gets so dry it literally peels off my forehead.

  • Kiehls, usually the foaming face wash. Sometimes the centella or the rare earth deep pore cleanser. Depends on my mood/skin. Toner is usually calendula and moisturizer is always the abysinne cream with spf. I've been using Kiehls stuff since high school and if it ain't broke...

I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

  • I don't use it.

I take off my makeup and rinse with warm water (maybe a little soap?). That's it.

  • Aveeno.  It's a foam in a pump.  I have used it for years.  Tried to switch up to an Origins cleanser not that long ago, all hell broke loose, and so I'm back.  I'm now on the "if it ain't broke..." train.
  • I like Aveeno Clear Complexion foaming cleanser. My husband likes Clean & Clear Daily Pore Cleanser, but I moved away from it 'cause those "mircro-scrubbers" hurt my skin. I never felt like the makeup was coming off unless I worked hard at scrubbing. I think my face is clearer now that I got off it.
  • Mary Kay Time Wise. Or some Clinique stuff.
