2 - If so, what are your chores? What are his? I cook dinner, unload the dishwasher, clean the kitchen, keep our checkbook balanced and do the laundry. He mows the lawn, washes the cars, and cleans the toilets. We both do the rest of the cleaning.
3 - Did you decide your chores after talking about them or is it just assumed you will do x and he will do y? We just kind of started doing each thing and it stuck.

2 - If so, what are your chores? What are his? He typically does the dishes and laundry. I basically do most of the cooking (I really don't feel like I do a whole lot.)
3 - Did you decide your chores after talking about them or is it just assumed you will do x and he will do y? We've discussed it because he often will get home and just do things he sees need to be done (vacuum, dust, bathroom, etc.)

not often enough. We usually just forget about it but are trying to get into a routine more often.

Definitely not often enough. I grew up every week or every other week, I think. We're lucky if we do every other week... it's usually once a month.
7 - What's your least favorite chore to do? Drying dishes, probably. Or scrubbing floors. We just got the Swiffer WetJet, which I'm not all that impressed with. It "does the job" but I don't feel they're clean unless I physically scrub them on my hands and knees (which I have yet to really do in our new duplex. MH did but I don't have faith he did his best. I did the bathroom recently, but not the kitchen/hallway.

2 - If so, what are your chores? What are his? I do it all...he helps on occassion when he feels like it
3 - Did you decide your chores after talking about them or is it just assumed you will do x and he will do y? we never talked about it really I just do it...although sometimes when I'm lazy I will let things slide and then he complains so I tell him to do it himself
4 - How often do you do laundry? I used to do it a ton but in efforts to lower energy/utility bills I'm doing it about twice a week to keep from having a whole day dedicated to it
5 - How often do you vacuum? now that we have hardwoods I sweep everyday because the dogs shed so much...I vacuum the bedrooms maybe once a month
6 - How often do you change your sheets? I try to weekly no more than ever other week

2 - If so, what are your chores? What are his? MH typically cuts the grass, takes out the trash, and scrubs the showers/tubs, and I always try to get him to dust. I typically do the laundry (MH never does this!), dishes, pay the bills, do the grocery shopping, and the rest of the cleaning.

4 - How often do you do laundry? Typically once a week unless the hampers pile up quicker then normal.
5 - How often do you vacuum? We vacuum the carpets once a week. The hardwood floors get vacuumed at least 3 times a week and then I swiffer everytime also. The hardwood does get a good scrub once a week.
6 - How often do you change your sheets? Once a week unless we're really busy over the weekend then it has gone every other week on occasion.
7 - What's your least favorite chore to do? Putting away laundry...HATE it!
1 - Do you and YH have set "chores" that each of you do? kind of - hubs does a lot, especially now that he's a house hubs.
2 - If so, what are your chores? What are his? I do the tub/ shower, dusting, general pick up, my laundry and dealing with anything i've planted. He does dishes, kids laundry, floors, toilet/ counters, garbage, & yard work - grass / weed wacker
3 - Did you decide your chores after talking about them or is it just assumed you will do x and he will do y? we've always just done them that way, although he does more now then he used to, but I've never had to ask him to help, he's always done his share.

5 - How often do you vacuum? all hard woods - so we sweep / mop at least once a week - dust mop as needed
6 - How often do you change your sheets? about once a week - we wait till we have a good load of towels and sheets - so sometimes it's a mid week thing, just depends - kids sheets get changed every other week or when they randomly want a different set - this happens more often then not - one week it's dinosaurs the next it's transformers.

What are his? he does the lawn care, he only trusts himself and the fact that the park district has been cutting the grass connected to us has been giving him mini heart attacks every Thursday. He has decided to cut that grass every Wednesday with the hopes they will leave it alone. (They use riding lawnmowers and don't cut evenly or in a straight line). It's kind of amusing how bent out of shape he gets. Also, DH does the whites laundry. He has a certain preferred method and it's easier if he does it rather than hear him comment how his white come out whiter than say if someone else did them.

4 - How often do you do laundry? when it gets big enough for a load. Sheets are done on the weekend and the rest during the week.

2 - If so, what are your chores? What are his? I cook, dust, dishes, mop the kitchen, vaccuum, laundry, feed nolan (he does not like to do this which is okay because i love it) He takes care of the bathrooms because i cant stand that and he cuts the grass and takes care of the yard.

He cooks dinner 90% of the time, he vaccuums, he takes out the trash, he cleans the tub, he cleans the cat litter (right now), We take turns doing the dishes but I usually do them more because he cooks, I clean the bathroom (other than the tub) I usually sweep the floor everynight and wipe down the counters and table. We each do our own laundry, We live in a condo building so no one has to do the outside stuff but before we did he did all the snow shoveling, etc

4 - How often do you do laundry? I do mine twice a week, he does his every couple of weeks which is why we each do our own laundry
5 - How often do you vacuum? MH vaccuums usually twice a week at least, two black cats plus a biege carpet don't mix
6 - How often do you change your sheets? every 2-3 weeks usually, it's hard because he sleeps during the day and i sleep at night so I usually have him wash them on his day off
7 - What's your least favorite chore to do? hmmm I hate so many of them, I don't know if it's considered a chore but I haaaaate grocery shopping. We go together every Thursday night and I always dread it.
I feel the need to say that it looks like he does a lot more around the house than I do, and actually right now he does. But it's hard because his days off are usually during the week and mine are the weekends. It's hard for me to clean the house when he is sleeping, I can't vaccuum, etc because I don't want to wake him. Plus no one is really around on his days off to do anything so he is home anyways I figure he may as well clean while he is
