the 8 year old and his family are from clinton, he goes to school with my sister and his mom is a dr at the local clinic in Clinton.Her and her husband adopted him and his twin when they were babies.. the family is well known throughout town, so you can imagine the impact its taking on our little town. its a horrible, terrible tragedy.. please pray for them

I can't even imagine. This story just tears me apart inside. Eight year olds are supposed to be afraid of monsters in their closets and brussel sprouts. Not of being stabbed to death. It makes me so sad that I have to raise my daughter in a world where something like this can happen.
I'll definitely be praying hard for all of them, Brit.
I apologize, I thought I responded to this and I just saw that I didn't.
I think Shoe said this best. It's so awful what happened to that poor child and it's terrifying to raise a child in a world where you have to worry about stuff like that. My thoughts and prayers are definitely with that family.
