AW: We leave for Africa in 5 days!
WooHoo!! We leave for Africa next Wednesday and I'm really excited about it! We'll be gone 18 days, hitting up South Africa (including 2 World Cup games in Johannesburg), Zimbabwe for Victoria Falls, and 6 nights in Botswana in 3 different Safari camps. Ending with 3 more nights in Cape Town, South Africa before heading back home.
I worked with my awesome new safari lens (Canon 100-400L) last night and I love it, even though it's heavy and huge. I also had to buy a new camera bag for it. 
Our last vaccine (measles) is on Monday, malaria Rx filled, trip insurance purchased, insect repellent w/ DEET bought as well as repellent for our clothes and bags, Dad sent his sweet binoculars, and already hit up Half Price Books so we can leave our books as we finish them and not have to carry them the whole trip.
