Salvia-from beautiful to falling over
I have 5 salvia plants that I planted 4 years ago. They are pretty big this year & looked so great when they started coming up and then blooming. But now, they went from standing up straight to totally falling over & are basically laying on the ground now.
Any ideas what I should do? I've heard that they might need to be seperated, but is it too late to do now?
Last year they did this as well. I cut off the dead blooms, which helped with them looking so droopy and laid down, but I don't think they ever perked back up to how they started in the spring.
Any tips appreciated!!
